MFT November Release Countdown--Day 3

We're on Day 3 of My Favorite Things November Release Countdown, and today
I'm sharing not one, but two cards using a new Pure Innocence set called
Season's Tweetings along with a cool new set of stitch lines Die-namics.

I die cut a panel from white card stock with the rectangle element from
Blueprints 24, then added the wonky stitching lines on the bottom.

The little girl was colored with a combination of Copics and colored pencils
and die cut with the coordinating dies. I colored the blue jay with Copics
and adhered him and the little girl on the panel.

I stamped the sentiment and added a sprinkling of snowflakes.
The card base was stamped with Balloon Strings Background (it's back in stock!)
to mimic the wonky stitching lines, and I adhered the panel to complete the card.

For my second card, I used kraft card stock and colored the little girl and bird
with Prismacolor pencils, then die cut them with the coordinating dies.
The panel was cut with the rectangle element from Blueprints 24 and I added
the zigzag stitching lines on the bottom for a bit of interest and to ground her.

I stamped the sentiment, popped up the girl and bird with dimensional
adhesive, then adhered the panel to a kraft card base. I love the different
looks you get just by switching up the card stock and your coloring medium.

MFT November Release Countdown--Day 4

It's Day 4 of My Favorite Things November Release with another fun set
for all you Birdie Brown fans--Merry Christmoose.

The moose and tree were stamped and colored with a combination of Copics
and Prismacolor pencils, and die cut with the matching dies, sold separately.

To ground the images, I stamped the rug and colored it with Copics,
then gave it a bit of texture by using a towel and colorless blender solution.
I adhered the tree and moose on the rug and stamped the punny sentiment.
I finished off the card with a sprinkling of enamel dots on the tree.

And speaking of the tree, it went from a Norfolk pine with bare branches to a
full on Douglas fir. Someone got carried away with the coloring.

Don't forget to visit today's post at My Favorite Things to see what the rest
of the design team is sharing, and leave a comment there for your chance
to win prizes! Hope to see you tomorrow, and thanks for stopping by.

MFT November Release Countdown--Day 5

It's that time of the month--My Favorite Things New Release Countdown!
There's so much holiday goodness in store, with new stamps, stencils, dies,
as well as inks, card stock, and patterned papers! It's like Christmas in October!

Day 5 brings one of two new sets from Birdie Brown--Toasty Greetings.
Check out these adorable penguins!

I started out by masking off a portion of a card base and ink distressed
a rectangle shape. Two penguins were colored and cut with the matching dies
and I did the same with the campfire and stick of marshmallows.

All the images were mounted on the card and finished off with a
clear embossed sentiment.

Be sure to stop by the MFT blog for more inspiration from the rest of the
designers participating in today's countdown and leave a comment there for
your chance to win prizes!

Thanks so much for stopping by. Hope to see you here tomorrow and I'll share
another fun set from Birdie Brown!

CAS(E) this Sketch 147

Here's CAS(E) this Sketch 147 brought to you by N@ Ali.

And here's how I interpreted it.

Poor little guy--his balloon escaped from his grasp. And that was my fault.
I was trying to position the balloon and decided at the last minute to make it
a runaway. I was even going to add a little teardrop on his face. But I didn't.

Visit CAS(E) this Sketch to see how the rest of the team interpreted the sketch
and join us if you can. Link up your card(s) by Thursday, November 5th.
Hope to see you in the gallery!
